mic AG is amongst initial members of Germany’s new quality exchange segment “Scale”

Munich, March 1, 2017 – As per today’s launch of the new quality segment of Deutsche Börse, the “Scale” segment, mic AG (ISIN DE000A0KF6S5) is amongst the 46 initial companies listed in the new segment. „Scale“ is replacing the Entry Standard and requires stricter regulation concerning its inclusion criteria and follow-up inclusion obligations. The goal of the new segment is to facilitate access to national and international investors mainly for small and medium-sized companies (SMEs). mic AG shares, fulfilling the tougher requirements to be qualified for the “Scale” segment, have been listed in the Entry Standard since 2006.

„The immediate switch from Entry Standard into the new quality segment “Scale” is a consequent move for mic AG. Quality and above average transparency have an important role. For mic AG the new SME segment of Deutsche Börse AG is the ideal platform to approach national and international investors and develop a broader access to capital markets. Particularly, as international capital markets suitable for SMEs are a central element in our business model. That has been demonstrated by the successful listing of our portfolio company Lifespot Health Ltd. on the Australian stock exchange ASX. More international IPOs of other portfolio companies will follow this year”, says Christian Damjakob, COO of mic AG.

Hauck & Aufhäuser Privatbankiers KGaA acts as mic AG’s Capital Market Partner.
